DYSLEXIA MANAGEMENT
We can help you to manage dyslexia but we can not cure it! What we do know from years of working with children and adults with dyslexia is that we can help. We have provided improved reading and spelling to hundreds of children and adults over the years.  If you think you or your child has dyslexia, take a few minutes to take the Dyslexia Quiz. These questions are designed to determine if a dyslexia evaluation may benefit you or your child.

APPROACH

Our program provides a systematic approach to dyslexia management beginning with an intake interview with our center director. A written questionnaire designed with the problems associated with dyslexia is completed by the parent(s). This information is then reviewed by our center director and provides the background for the testing that is to follow.

Dyslexia is a genetic condition with major educational implications for learning to read and spell. The problem with most programs is that even with a diagnosis of dyslexia, the programs used to treat dyslexia are either inappropriate or incomplete. Most programs  are directed toward many students at the same time. Most school systems try to help through the resource classroom where there are several students in each session. The fact is that dyslexia therapy requires one-to-one or two-to-one student to teacher ratio. Our program maintains two students to one teacher/therapist and can be adapted to one-to-one.

This web site is a terrific way to access the information you need about our program, as well as serving as an educational resource. Whether you're currently involved in our therapy program or just curious about what we have to offer for dyslexia management, you're sure to find a wealth of helpful information.
